I think that you are going to have a blast playing Lost Ark since it will be a very refreshing and exciting experience especially since the game can also be played for free which actually can be fine since none of the content is locked behind any pay to win walls ( many of the players that clear the hardest dungeons are actually free to play players because skills and experience matter much more there than gear alone ).
I had fun playing Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 back in the days but if i had to pick then i would definitely go with Lost Ark simply because of the content and all the other options listed above. The difference from Diablo and Lost Ark is that the latter feels much less repetitive since it has way more content and also so much more engaging and dynamic combat along with so many cool classes and sailing or even housing plus life skills.
